Single Vineyard Wines

Single vineyard wines are produced with grapes exclusively from a single vineyard site. These high quality wines are the ultimate expression of "terroir".  Soil, water, sunlight, temperature and topographical features of the vineyard all work in harmony to produce the choicest fruit which is reflected in unique and distinctive wines.

Some of the best single vineyard wines come from the legendary Sélections Parcellaires of Maison M. Chapoutier and are among the greatest wines produced in the world. Discover these and other exceptional single vineyard wines...a great addition to your cellar or to enjoy now!

  • M. Chapoutier Ermitage "L'Ermite" Blanc 2006

    Hermitage, France

Sélections Parcellaires. Ermitage "L'Ermite" Blanc is the most individual statement in the Hermitage appellation, and the most prized for followers of M. Chapoutier's grandest of crus. Brilliant yellowish straw color. Complex aromas of vanilla, dried fruits, bitter almond with a hint of lime blossom. Very round and rich wine.

  • M. Chapoutier Ermitage "Les Greffieux" 2006

    Hermitage, France

Sélections Parcellaires. Critics call this wine from M. Chapoutier's Les Greffiieux vineyard "a candidate for perfection". Black fruit and mineral aromas lead to powerful tannins with hints of stewed blackberries and an unbelievably long and elegant finish. Rated 98 points by Wine Advocate.
