Rutherford Hill Merlot 2005
Brick Red color. Cherry, chocolate, anise, soy, clove, cocoa aromas. Round, smooth tannins, with flavors of cherries and plums and hints of anise, cocoa and clove.
Chanson Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2006
Ruby red with purple tinges. Intense, fresh aromas of raspberries and red currant. This wine is fleshy with a nice aromatic combination of red berries. It is lively, well-structured and complex.

Light yellow color. Dutch apple pie, spice and nutmeg aromas. Creamy texture, weighty but balanced acidity.

Cuvaison Pinot Noir 2007
Cuvaison’s Carneros Pinot Noir comes from the winery's 400-acre estate in the southern part of Napa Valley. This cool climate vineyard allows near perfect conditions year after year to produce world class Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah. Controlling all farming aspects within their own vineyard gives Cuvaison an advantage in producing the best quality fruit therefore minimizing over manipulation at the winery. Winemaker Steven Rogstad sums it up best, “My style and philosophy are based on expressing the unique character of our estate grapes and doing as little as possible to them. When one has such wonderful fruit to work with, that should be one’s emphasis.” Cuvaison's 2007 Pinot Noir is a very lush and seductive style of Pinot, brimming with vibrant fruit and backed by a toasty, velvety tannin on the finish.

Chimney Rock Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Deep garnet color. This wine has bright red fruit aromas -- bing cherries come to mind. In tandem with the extroverted fruit -- some sassy spices such as clove and even a hint of cinnamon. All of that layered with some vanilla and a hint of coffee bean. Lively is the first word that comes to mind. Mouth-watering juiciness at the front palate are followed by a palate coating middle. Tannins -- velvety as expected. Long finish.
