Chateau de Meursault, whose history goes back one thousand years, produces the Clos du Chateau from two prime parcels located in front of the Chateau itself in Meursault. Chateau de Meursault produces the Meursault “Clos des Grands Charrons” from adjoining parcels located West of the hamlet of Meursault. This Monopole, or proprietary wine, is produced from well-drained gravelly soils of hard limestone, which contribute to its intensity and minerality.
Pommard Premier Cru, France
Chateau de Meursault, whose history goes back one thousand years, produces the Pommard “Clos des Epenots” from 5 parcels totaling 9 Acres, located on the Northern side of Pommard. The dark limy soils, warm and well-drained, enable this wine to taste ripe, full-bodied and spicy.
