White Wines

Cool & inviting – need we say more, the only better way to enjoy a nice white wine is with friends. All types of white wine start with white grapes but the resulting wine will vary greatly depending upon the type of grape grown and several other variables such as where in the world the grapes are grown, how the climate, moisture levels and soil conditions affect the grapes during their growing season, and how each individual winemaker treats the grapes once they are picked. This is the beauty of wine. Most types of white wines are lighter (have less body) than red wines.

            A lively acidity and spicy minerality, typical of a vine cultivated in Tufo, are followed by soft notes of balsamic. This wine pairs perfectly with raw fish, bufala mozzarella and white meat dishes.

          • Sanford Chardonnay - Sta. Rita Hills 2014

            Sta. Rita Hills, California

            This hand-harvested, barrel fermented Chardonnay is rich and full-bodied with notes of lemon zest, stone fruits, toasted hazelnut with hints of pineapple. A wonderful complement to seafood, poultry and pasta with lighter sauces, and mushroom dishes.

            Colli Orientali del Friuli, Italy

            This Friulano comes from very old vines, located on Estate vineyards with cool nights and warm days, which is ideal for producing wines with excellent acidity and elegance. The floral aromas of the Friulano have distinct pear and almond notes and give way to creamy texture and a full body.
