White Wines

Cool & inviting – need we say more, the only better way to enjoy a nice white wine is with friends. All types of white wine start with white grapes but the resulting wine will vary greatly depending upon the type of grape grown and several other variables such as where in the world the grapes are grown, how the climate, moisture levels and soil conditions affect the grapes during their growing season, and how each individual winemaker treats the grapes once they are picked. This is the beauty of wine. Most types of white wines are lighter (have less body) than red wines.

The floral aromas of the Friulano have distinct pear and almond notes and give way to creamy texture and a full body.

          • Anselmi Capitel Foscarino 2013

            Veneto, Italy

            Capitel Foscarino is grown on twenty-four acres of cru vineyards at the top of the Foscarino Hill, the best vine growing hill in the area. Medium to full-bodied with flavors of fresh apples, peach and lime underscored by mineral notes.

            • Anselmi Capitel Croce 2013

              Veneto, Italy

              The Anselmi Capitel Croce comes from a small ten acre estate vineyard near the Croce shrine in the Monteforte. This wine is complex and persistent with rich, creamy fruit flavors of peach, apple, cream and spring flowers. The use of oak adds a subtle and agreeable spiciness to the wine.
