Production Notes: Nestled in the Valdobbiadene hills of the eastern Veneto is one of the most wonderful wine growing regions. This is home to a grape variety native to Veneto -- Prosecco. Prosecco is used to make a highly flavored dry and delicate sparkling wine. With peach and apple aromas, this fresh and balanced sparkling wine has fine perlage with a refreshing finish. Prosecco di Valdobbiadene is excellent as an aperitif, ideal with seafood dishes and after meals with light desserts.

The texture of this wine deftly balances the richness of ripe stone fruit with the grip of fruit skins, like apple and apricot. A hint of white pepper adds subtle complexity, while the finish feels fresh and elegant. Try it with toasted almonds.

Tasters saw a light yellow wine with long-lasting, concentrated bubbles. It offered scents of apricots, apples, yeast and kiwi before revealing up-front floral flavors that were followed by a mixture of lychee fruit, citrus and apples. These same crisp flavors lingered long on the tongue, which was not a problem for happy panel members.
