Production Notes: Anthony Terlato’s grandfather, John Giarrusso (1880-1931) traveled from Sicily to Brooklyn as a young man, bringing with him a tradition of home winemaking and the culture of sharing wine with familyand friends.A butcher by trade, he offered home-made Zinfandel to his customers, a heritage continued by his grandson and wine producer Tony Terlato. Giarrusso celebrates John and the many like him who founded an American wine tradition, specializing in top quality Zinfandel from an 8 acre vineyard block from their estate in the Dry Creek Valley.
