Tasting Notes: This wine is a blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from all estate grown fruit. The cool climate Shiraz character is of rich raspberry and plum overlaid with white pepper and spice integrated with the more robust blackberry and black currant flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is forward on the nose showing rich berry aromatics and some spice, with the palate complemented by the overlay of spice and weight. The wine finishes with soft yet distinct tannins and fruit flavors lingering. The French and American oak is well integrated giving finesse to this cool climate style of wine.
