The 2015 Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from our two estate vineyards: La Rinconada and the historic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. Both of these stellar vineyards are in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills. A light bodied palate features notes of strawberry and orange blossom. Bright acidity makes it an ideal food pairing wine with a fresh, long finish.
The wine is aged in a combination of neutral French oak and stainless steel barrels for 4 months.
Whole cluster direct press prior to cool temperature fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation lasts from 10-12 days.
