Feudi di San Gregorio was established in 1986 in Sorbo Serpico, a tiny village in Campania’s Irpinia region, near Mount Vesuvius. A modern expression of a centuries-old tradition of passion and dedication to the land, it is one of Campania's premier winemaking estates and is situated in one of Italy’s most exciting and innovative wine regions. The proprietors of the estate, the Capaldo family, have selected the finest vineyards in which to nurture this region's unique, indigenous varietals
For me, the future of this area is white wines, and I think for all of us now here, Fiano is the variety…Fiano is rich in everything, it has minerality, but it has a lot of other things.
