One of the oldest Chateau in Bordeaux, originating in 1366, Chateau Timberlay produces estate grown Bordeaux wines with an ecological and terroir driven philosophy. Their offerings combine tradition and authenticity with an approach that makes Bordeaux accessible. Soft and full-bodied, with good structure and acidity, as well as very elegant tannins. It is very long on the palate, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
Aged for 8 months in French barrel.
The grapes are hand picked in several waves to ensure perfect ripeness and fermented in temperature controlled cement vats.
