Since 1890, the Franceschi family has helped develop standards for the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino region as a founding member of the Brunello Consortium. Today, the winery continues its winemaking philosophy: To create wines of impeccable quality and style, enhanced by the use of organic substances and all natural products. This Rosso di Montalcino Selezione Leopoldo Franceschi was personally selected from the best Rosso di Montalcino barrels, usually reserved for guests of the winery. Only 4,000 bottles of this highly exclusive wine were produced and only 50 cases were sent to the United States.The wine is an intense ruby with aromas of red fruit, dark berries, underwood and sweet spices. It is rich and complex on the palate with velvety tannins and a persistent finish.

12 months in French oak barrels and barriques, followed by a minimum of 8 months bottle aging
