The 2015 Brut Cuvée is the culmination of extensive winemaking trials and experimentation. We were convinced that our two estate vineyards in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills (La Rinconada and Sanford and Benedict) could produce world class sparkling wine, alongside our stellar still wines. The 2015 bottling is strong evidence that we were correct!
Barrel fermentation and 100% malolactic fermentation added to the complexity of the base wine before fermenting in bottle using traditional “Méthode Champenoise”

The 2015 is wonderfully streamlined, but generous and super-expressive. The miniscule yields of 2015 are evident in the concentration, but they are just one note in the symphony that flows through this wine. The exotic and nutty aromas balance beautifully with the crystalline clarity, refined mousse and chiseled minerality that make this so tantalizing on the palate. This wine pairs wonderfully with anything from the ocean, Asian dishes, or by itself.
