The 2018 Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from 5 family vineyards across the Marlborough region that are located on the northern side of the Wairau Valley: Home Block, Winery Block, Longbend, The Angler and Crusher. The aromas translate generously onto the palate, which is bursting with intense tropical fruit, peach, lemon, grapefruit and passionfruit. A fine, mouthwatering mineral acidity on the finish refreshes the palate and leaves you longing for more.
After blending, the wine was left to settle on light lees before bottling on the Wairau River Estate. This wine is unoaked.
The grapes were harvested in the cool hours of the morning, and gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats.
